during this year, we can feel the progress in many aspects of yanbian’s society. besides our own hard working, all of you foreign experts and investors have given us a big help. on behalf of yanbian committee of cpc, people’s government and the yanbian people, i’d like to show my appreciation to all the foreign experts and investors, wishing you and your families a happy new year.
延边是中国的边疆少数民族地区,各方面条件和发展水平目前还不如发达地区,但是延边人的勤奋、开放、奉献、向上正在使这片土地发生着巨大的变化。我们有丰富的资源、优越的区位、发达的文化教育,我们更加注重对外开放,面向整个世界来定位和谋划延边的发展。因此,有了来自韩、日等17个国家的649个外商企业在延边创业,有了919名外国专家在延边服务工作,延边也有十几万人走出家乡,学习、工作、服务在世界各地。
although yanbian is a prefecture of minority nationality on the frontier, which is not well developed as other regions, yanbian people are promoting this place with their diligence, devotion, openness, and hard working. we have rich natural resources, superior position, well-developed culture and education. we also pay much attention to opening up. there are in yanbian six hundred and forty-nine enterprises with foreign invest from seventeen countries, and nine hundred and nineteen foreign experts working here. moreover, more than one hundred thousand yanbian people are studying and working all over the world.
这种双向互动,带动的不仅是资本、技术、人才的合理选择,更是多元思想文化的交流融合。它使延边引进了更多的经营理念、生产技术,承接了先进的思想文化和时尚元素。开放交流成为今天延边充满生机、活力勃发的重要驱动力。我们会始终坚持这一战略,把延边同世界更好地融合在一起。
this kind of exchange pushes forward not only reasonable choice on capital, technology and talent, but also bringing in modern ideas of management and manufacture skills. opening-up and exchange become the main force to make yanbian a place, which is full of vigor. we will insist on this policy to make yanbian and the whole world more harmonious.
任何一个地区的发展都需要规范的秩序,需要优质的环境,需要充裕的资本和智力。专家创造技术,企业创造财富,政府创造环境。我们深刻认识到环境对于发展至关重要,动用巨大人力物力资源营造良好环境,为的就是让外来企业发展安心顺畅,让人们生活无忧无虑。
to develop, a region need standard order, good environment, abundant capital and intelligence. experts invite technology, enterprises create wealth and the government builds the environment. we have deep acknowledged to the importance of environment, we cost much manpower and resources to build a better one in order to give foreign investors and experts a better place to live and work.
